Promotion and Sponsor: Lake Ridge Bank’s Agriculture Ag Swag Gift Basket Giveaway (“promotion”) is sponsored by Lake Ridge Bank, 6430 Bridge Road, Monona, WI 53713 (“Sponsor”). The contest will consist of one initiative. Participants may begin posting at 7:00 a.m. CST on Friday, March 22, 2024, posting will end at 11:59 p.m. CST on Thursday, March 28, 2024 (the “Promotion Period”) when eligible participants leave a comment indicating their favorite thing about being in the Agriculture Industry on the Sponsor’s Ag Swag Gift Basket Giveaway Facebook post.  The initiative is a contest to obtain the most public ‘likes’ on participants' posted comment within the applicable promotion period.  

Eligibility: The Giveaway is open only to legal residents of Wisconsin who are 18 years of age or older. Employees of Sponsor, affiliates, subsidiaries, divisions, business units, advertising, promotion agencies (collectively the “Giveaway Parties”), and members of each employee’s immediate family, defined as spouses, (biological, adoptive, and step-) parents, children or stepchildren, and each of their respective spouses (regardless of where they reside) are not eligible to enter the Giveaway. Any entry determined to be ineligible at any time will be disqualified.  

How to Enter: Participants will have the opportunity to comment on the appropriate Facebook post on the following page: https://www.facebook.com/LakeRidgeAg. Participants must be 18 years or older and a legal Wisconsin Resident. There is no maximum number of submissions for the duration of the Promotion Period. No other method of entry aside from those described above will be eligible. Any participant who attempts to enter the Giveaway under multiple identities will be disqualified and ineligible to win a prize. Participants may be reviewed for eligibility and vetted by an advisory board designated by Sponsor (the “Advisory Board”). Decisions of the Advisory Board will be binding and conclusive on all matters. Sponsor will collect personal data about participants when they enter the Giveaway. This personal information may be used by Sponsor for internal purposes and may further be disclosed to and used by the Giveaway Parties for administrative, promotional, and marketing purposes associated with the Giveaway. By entering and participating in the Giveaway, participants hereby agree that, subject to applicable law, this personal information may also be disclosed to and used by Sponsor and/or its affiliates, and any companies that perform services on their behalf, for marketing, advertising, and solicitation activities, including identifying products and services for which participants may be eligible, and offering products and services to participants. This personal information will not be used for any other purpose, nor will it otherwise be disclosed to any other third parties, unless otherwise required by law. Any entries deemed by Sponsor, in its sole discretion, to not be in compliance with any of the entry requirements and restrictions set forth herein will not be eligible to participate in the Giveaway. Date and time of entry for determination of eligibility and compliance with these Official Rules shall be determined solely by the computer clock of Sponsor, which is the official timekeeping device of this Giveaway. The Giveaway is void where prohibited by law. By entering, participants agree to be bound by these Official Rules and the decisions of Sponsor, which shall be final in all matters relating to this Giveaway. 

Selection of Winners: Contest Giveaway winners will be determined based off most public ‘likes’ received on eligible entries received by Sponsor. One (1) winner will be announced for the most ‘likes’ received for their comment indicating their favorite thing about being in the agriculture industry. In the event of a tie, the Sponsor will randomly select the winner using an online selection generator.   

Prize Details: The winner will be awarded a Lake Ridge Bank Agricultural Swag Gift Basket. The odds of winning will depend on public judgement and selection based on number of ‘likes’ received on Participant’s comments on the Ag Swag Gift Basket Giveaway Post during the Promotion Period. No transfer or assignment of the winning prize is permitted. Federal, state, and local taxes, if any, are the sole responsibility of the winner. Sponsor is not responsible for any costs associated with claiming the prize.  

Winner Notification and Prize Conditions: The winning Participant will be announced on the Official Lake Ridge Bank Agriculture Facebook page, https://www.facebook.com/LakeRidgeAg on Monday, April 1, 2024 after an attempt has been made to notify them via Facebook messenger and the winner has signed the consent form or otherwise provided sufficient written authorization to allow their name to be published. The winner must be available to speak with Sponsor within five (5) days of Sponsor’s request. The winner should receive their prize within 5-10 business days after Sponsor determines that eligibility requirements and standards have been met. In the event a winner is disqualified or cannot be reached within 21 days, prize will be awarded to the Participant who received the next highest number of ‘likes’ on their comment on the Ag Swag Gift Basket Giveaway post, provided they meet all the requirements herein. Federal, State and Local taxes and fees, if any, are the winner’s sole responsibility. All income taxes on the prize are the sole responsibility of the winner. An IRS Miscellaneous Income Form 1099 may be issued to the winner. The winner should seek independent counsel regarding the tax implications of accepting the prize where applicable. The winner, unless otherwise prohibited by law, grants Sponsor and the Giveaway Parties, the right, without limitation, further permission or further compensation, to use and publish the winner’s name and/or likeness, and city and state of residence for promotional, advertising, publicity and marketing purposes in any manner in commerce and in any medium now known or hereafter devised throughout the world in perpetuity without limitation and without further notice or approval. The winner's name and picture(s) may also be announced by news release and posted, at Sponsor’s discretion, on Sponsor’s proprietary website and/or on third-party social media websites with which Sponsor maintains an account. The winner agrees to release, discharge, defend, indemnify and hold Sponsor and it’s officers, directors, employees, representatives and agents harmless from and against any claims, damages, losses or liability due to any personal injury (including without limitation emotional distress) and/or death to any person or property of any kind resulting in whole or in part, directly or indirectly, from the acceptance, possession, misuse or use of the prize or participation in any prize related activities (including travel related thereto) or participation in this Giveaway including any and all costs and attorneys’ fees incurred in responding to and/or defending such claims. If Sponsor so elects, a potential winner may be required to submit to a confidential background check to confirm eligibility and help ensure that the use of any such person in advertising or publicity for the Giveaway will not bring Sponsor into public disrepute, contempt, scandal, or ridicule or reflect unfavorably on the Giveaway or Sponsor as determined by Sponsor in its sole discretion. Sponsor reserves the right to disqualify a potential winner if the individual refuses to submit to the background check or based on the findings resulting from such background check. Sponsor shall not be liable to a winner for failure to supply the prize or any part thereof, by reason of any acts of God; any action(s), regulation(s), order(s) or request(s) by any governmental or quasi-governmental entity whether or not the action(s), regulations(s), order(s) or request(s) prove(s) to be invalid; equipment failure; terrorist acts; air raid; blackout; act of public enemy; earthquake; war (declared or undeclared); fire; flood; epidemic; explosion; unusually severe weather; hurricane; embargo; labor dispute or strike (whether legal or illegal); labor or material shortage; transportation interruption of any kind; work slow-down; civil disturbance; insurrection; riot; or any other cause beyond Sponsor’s sole control. Each participant agrees that (i) under no circumstances will participants be permitted to obtain awards for, and participant hereby waives all rights to claim punitive, incidental, consequential or any other damages, other than for actual out-of-pocket expenses; (ii) all causes of action arising out of or connected with this Giveaway, or any prize awarded or use of any entry, shall be resolved individually, without resort to any form of class action; and (iii) any and all claims, judgments, and awards shall be limited to actual out- of pocket costs incurred, excluding attorneys’ fees and court costs.  

Limitations of Liability: Sponsor and the Giveaway Parties are not responsible for: (i) entries that are lost, late, stolen, damaged, garbled, destroyed or misdirected; (ii) any problems or technical malfunctions, errors, omissions, interruptions, deletions, defects, delays in operation or transmission, communication failures or human error that may occur in the transmission, receipt or processing of entries, or for destruction of or unauthorized access to, or alteration of, entries; (iii) failed or unavailable hardware, network or, software; (iv) causes beyond Sponsor’s reasonable control that jeopardize the administration, security, fairness, integrity or proper conduct of this Giveaway; (v) incorrect or inaccurate entry information whether caused by participants or by any of the equipment or programming associated with or utilized in the Giveaway; (vi) any typographical or other error in any printing or advertising related to the Giveaway, in the administration or execution of the Giveaway, or in the announcement of a winner; or (vii) cheating or fraud by any participant. 

Promotion Administration: This promotion is being administered by Sponsor and the Giveaway Parties. Promotions advertised via Meta are in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Meta. Upon participating in promotion, participants agree to fully release and hold Meta harmless from liability.  

 Miscellaneous: If for any reason this Giveaway cannot be executed as planned, Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion to cancel, terminate or suspend this Giveaway, and in such case, to select a winner by random drawing from among all valid entries received up to the time of cancellation, termination, or suspension. Sponsor reserves the right, at its sole discretion, to disqualify and prosecute any individual who tampers with or attempts to tamper with the entry process or any aspect of this Giveaway. CAUTION: ANY ATTEMPT BY ANY PERSON TO DELIBERATELY DAMAGE ANY WEBSITE OR OTHERWISE CORRUPT OR UNDERMINE THE LEGITIMATE OPERATION OF THE GIVEAWAY MAY BE A VIOLATION OF CRIMINAL AND CIVIL LAWS. SHOULD SUCH AN ATTEMPT BE MADE, SPONSOR RESERVES THE RIGHT TO DISQUALIFY, PROSECUTE AND SEEK DAMAGES FROM ANY SUCH PERSON TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW. Sponsor is not obligated to make use of any of the rights granted in these Official Rules.
