Q: What is your role at the bank?

As the Retail Manager, I lead our team with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service, building strong community relationships, and keeping our daily operations running smoothly. I’m passionate about helping people reach their financial goals—whether that’s opening their first account, applying for a loan, or navigating life’s big financial decisions. I also take great pride in mentoring my team and fostering a positive, supportive work environment where morale stays high and everyone feels empowered to succeed. I’m always here to support our customers and ensure they feel valued and well taken care of.

Q: What are the best things about living and working in this area?

One of the best things about living and working here is the strong sense of community. You’re always greeted with a friendly face, and people genuinely care about one another. I love how supportive local businesses are of each other and how easy it is to build real connections. It’s a place where you feel rooted, and where small acts of kindness go a long way. That same sense of community extends into our bank as well. We have a close-knit team that truly pulls through together in every situation, whether it’s tackling a big challenge or simply helping each other through the day. We support one another, communicate openly, and celebrate each other’s wins. That teamwork and mutual respect help all of us thrive, and it’s one of the biggest reasons I enjoy coming to work every day.

Q: How did you get into banking as a career?

My journey into banking began after many years working in retail, where I truly learned to value the power of genuine customer connection and relationship-building. When the chance came to join a banking team as a teller, I embraced it wholeheartedly—not knowing it would change my life. In my leadership role at Lake Ridge Bank, I get to share my passion for helping others every day. Mentoring my team and watching them grow is incredibly rewarding. I still find so much joy in guiding people on smart financial choices and credit building, and in supporting new small business owners as they courageously pursue their dreams. Banking didn’t just take my career to another level—it gave me the opportunity to make a real difference in people’s lives and in our community. And for that, I’m truly grateful.

Q: Do you have a philosophy of life?

Life is about embracing risks because true growth happens only when we dare to step beyond what feels safe and familiar. Every chance we take opens the door to new possibilities and discoveries about ourselves. I believe in making a meaningful difference—whether it’s through small acts of kindness at work, moments of love and support at home, or extending a helping hand to a stranger. It’s in these connections that our lives gain depth and purpose. Stepping outside your comfort zone is never easy, but the triumphs that come from pushing past fear remind us of our strength and potential. Trust yourself—your instincts, your heart—and have faith in your unique journey. Kindness and empathy are the gifts we give one another. Patience teaches us to appreciate the journey, not just the destination. And in the rush of life, it’s the simple, quiet moments that often hold the greatest meaning. We only get one life—one chance to leave our mark. So live boldly, love deeply, and make every moment count.
