Bio

Al Herbst brings nearly 30 years of mortgage lending experience and deep roots in the Janesville community to Lake Ridge Bank. After growing up in Janesville, Al earned his Bachelor of Science degree in Geology and Geophysics from the University of Wisconsin Madison before beginning his mortgage lending career in 1998. Since returning to Janesville in 2000, he has built an extensive career in mortgage lending and leadership, helping individuals and families navigate the home financing process with personalized guidance and local expertise. Al is also deeply involved in the community and local real estate industry, including 25 years with the Rock Green Realtors Association, more than a decade with the Janesville Lions Club, and involvement with the South-Central Wisconsin Builders Association. Al takes pride in building lasting relationships and helping his clients feel confident throughout their homebuying journey.
