Jim Tubbs
Chief Executive Officer
Jim Tubbs served as President & CEO of State Bank of Cross Plains since July 2011, and has been with the Bank since November 1995. Jim has over 40 years of experience in the industry, including time at First Wisconsin Bank, and M&I Bank before coming to the State Bank of Cross Plains in 1995. He now assumes the roles of CEO for Lake Ridge Bank & Lake Ridge Bancorp, Inc. A graduate of UW-Whitewater, he recently completed his term as a director for Bankers’ Bank of Wisconsin and Bishops Bay Country Club. He is also a past chairman of Community Bankers of Wisconsin. He is actively involved with Downtown Madison, Inc., and United Way of Dane County.
Paul Hoffmann
President
Paul Hoffmann served as the President and CEO of Monona Bank since June 2007, and he now assumes the role of President for Lake Ridge Bank as well as a Director for both Lake Ridge Bancorp, Inc. and the bank. Paul has more than 40 years experience in the banking industry, including time spent working at M&I Bank and Park Bank in Madison, as well as for the Federal Reserve Bank in Minneapolis. Paul graduated from St. Mary’s University in Winona, Minnesota with a Bachelor of Arts degree with majors in Business Administration-Management and Humanities. He also completed the Graduate School of Banking Program at the University of Wisconsin Madison. Paul is active in the community and currently serves on the boards of Madison Rotary Foundation, Banker’s Bank, and Madison Symphony Orchestra. He previously was Chairman of Goodwill Industries of South Central Wisconsin, Chairman of Community Bankers of Wisconsin, and he was also previously on the boards of Monona Chamber of Commerce, Wisconsin Bankers Association, and Maple Bluff Country Club.
Scott Ducke
Executive Vice President – Chief Operating Officer
Scott serves as the Executive Vice President/Chief Operating Officer of Lake Ridge Bank. He previously served as the Chief Lending Officer for State Bank of Cross Plains where he led all lending functions. He has more than thirty years in the financial services industry. He is on the Executive Board and serves as Treasurer for the Clean Lakes Alliance, is a member of the Family Business Center at UW Madison and serves on the Board of Directors for the Middleton Law Enforcement Foundation. Scott earned an undergraduate degree in business from Winona State University, a Master of Business Administration degree from Edgewood College and also attended the Graduate School of Banking in Madison, WI.
Tim Ryan
Chief Financial Officer
Tim has served as the CFO of Lake Ridge Bank since the merger. Prior to that he was EVP & CFO of Monona Bank since 1999. Tim also worked in various financial roles including Controller with Blackhawk State Bank starting in 1990. During his community banking career, he has focused on the financial, operational, and technology functions of the bank.
Arlyn Steffenson
Chief Lending Officer
Arlyn brings to his work more than 25 years’ experience in business banking. “I think our business bankers excel at focusing on each customer and providing tailor-made solutions instead of packaged services.” Arlyn is co-chair of the Monona Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors.
Paul Manchester
Chief Retail Officer
Paul Manchester has been in the banking industry for 24 years, within Dane County. Paul started his career as a Personal Banker and worked his way up to a District Management, gaining experience in commercial banking as a Commercial Banker, and spending time working with Real Estate and C&I clients. In 2019, Paul returned to retail as the Chief Retail Officer for State Bank of Cross Plains.
Jordon Geiger
Chief Wealth Management Officer
Jordon Geiger has worked in investment management, trust services, and banking for more 20 years. As Chief Wealth Management Officer, he oversees the strategic direction of Lake Ridge Bank’s wealth management team and provides insights to the Executive Team regarding client needs through direct contact with business, nonprofits, families and individuals every day. Jordon holds his CTFA in Trust Administration, along with his MBA in Marketing from Edgewood College and BS in Finance and Real Estate from Colorado State University.
Stephen Eager
Market President
Market President since June 2019, Steve Eager provides leadership for Lake Ridge Bank southern offices, based out of our Evansville office, and also leads our Agricultural Division. A past recipient of the Wisconsin Bankers Association’s Banker of the Year Award, Steve specializes in Risk Management, Financial Analysis, Mortgage Lending, and Commercial Lending, and Banking.
Sue Loken
Chief Strategy Officer
Sue Loken has been in the banking industry for over 25 years. She started her banking career with Wipfli and consulted Banking clients on regulatory issues to driving efficiencies in their organizations. Sue was CFO/Chief Risk Officer for a Community Bank for over ten years in the Milwaukee, WI. She was previously the CFO for State Bank of Cross Plains before the merger with Monona Bank. In Sue’s current role as Chief Strategy/ Chief Risk Officer, she drives the strategic initiatives, assists in shareholder relations, and oversees risk for Lake Ridge Bank.
Julie Redfern
Chief Banking Officer
Julie serves as the Chief Banking Officer for Lake Ridge Bank in Madison. Prior to a most recent Merger of Equals, she was EVP and Chief Operations Officer for Monona Bank joining the bank in Fall of 2019. She currently oversees IT, Technology, Digital Platforms, Account Services, Deposit Operations and Facilities. Her banking experience of more than 30 years includes Operations and Compliance work at Monona Bank, CFO and Operations work at Union Bank & Trust Company, as well as Operations and Audit work at Bankers’ Bank in Madison prior to that. Julie has a degree in Finance from UW-Whitewater and has completed the Graduate School of Banking Program based at the University of Madison. She has obtained a Certificate in Advanced Management and Leadership out of the Wisconsin School of Business-Center for Professional and Executive Development. Julie is active with the Wisconsin Bankers Association, helping to organize the BOLT initiative there, and is currently serving on the Graduate School of Banking Advisory Board as Chairman. She is recently appointed to the ICBA National Bank Operations Committee and enjoys serving on Finance Team for the Sugar River United Methodist Church in Verona.
Pete Graven
Chief Credit Officer
Pete Graven serves as Chief Credit Officer and brings more than 40 years of banking experience in credit administration, commercial lending, credit risk management, loss mitigation, and community banking. He oversees the bank’s credit policy, loan portfolio performance, commercial underwriting, portfolio monitoring, and loan documentation functions, helping ensure sound credit practices and alignment with regulatory guidance and the bank’s risk appetite. Pete also leads the bank’s loss mitigation efforts, including the management of criticized and classified assets, supporting the institution’s long-term strength and stability. He holds a Bachelor of Business Administration from the University of Wisconsin–Madison and is a graduate of the Graduate School of Banking. Outside of work, he enjoys traveling, golfing, and spending time at his cabin in Florence County.
Kari Davis
Chief Talent Officer
Kari serves as the Chief Talent Officer, where she leads the strategic direction of the human resources function, including talent management, compensation and benefits, leadership development, and employee engagement. With over 20 years of HR experience in the banking industry, she brings deep expertise in human capital strategy and organizational development. Kari holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Human Resources from the University of Wisconsin–La Crosse, maintains both PHR and SHRM-CP certifications, and is a 2022 graduate of the Graduate School of Banking, where she also earned a Certificate in Executive Leadership from the Wisconsin School of Business Professional and Executive Development.
