Bio

Monique Nelson's love for agriculture began on her family's 50-cow dairy farm in Brillion, WI, where she was taught the importance of hard work, perseverance, and community. She went on to earn her Bachelor of Science in Agricultural Business from the University of Wisconsin-River Falls and has spent nearly a decade serving producers through the USDA Farm Service Agency. She has experience navigating loan programs, providing training, and offering guidance to strengthen farm operations regardless of generation, with expertise in supporting beginning farmers.

Today, Monique and her husband are raising their family on a small farmette in southern Wisconsin, where they continue to live out their agricultural roots. Monique believes that when farms thrive, entire communities flourish.
